among his followers, gives not of his wisdom but rather of his faith and his
lovingness." - Kahlil Gibran

The School of Humanities proudly congratulates

DR. ROBERTO CONRADO O, GUEVARA
Assistant Professor of the Department of Theology

for being the recipient of the

2012 HENRY LEE IRWIN MEMORIAL TEACHER AWARD

The Henry Lee Irwin Memorial Teacher Award honors Ateneo faculty members who
have shown excellence and dedication to the teaching profession as well as
service to the Filipino youth.
Every three years, the search for an awardee is done
in the Loyola Schools School of Humanities.
We are happy for Bobby Guevara to be this year's recipient
of this prestigious award.

We often hear alumni say about Bobby: "He has changed my life!"
There is a good man behind the good teacher.
His advocacy to serve the least privileged sectors of society is
a testament to the Ignatian ideals that he lives by and
that guides his formation work among students.

The Irwin Memorial Teacher Award is a shining tribute to Bobby Guev's
excellence as a person and as a teacher, a very well deserved honor,
an honor he shares with his students and all his colleagues in the
School of Humanities that continue to take pride in him and in his largely
unquantifiable achievements!

Dr. Roberto Conrado O. Guevara

CONGRATULATIONS, BOBBY GUEV!
