The 6th JGSOM Business Leadership Forum:
Unlocking the Secrets of Successful Family Businesses

The John Gokongwei School of Management (JGSOM) affirms its commitment in empowering local business by holding its 6th Business Leadership Forum entitled It's All in the Family: Unlocking the Secrets of Successful Family Businesses. This business forum, which will be held at the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Intercontinental in Makati on July 15, is the much-awaited follow-up of last year's successful family business forum It Runs in the Blood.

Featured speakers will be Professor Mike True Blood, Director, Family Business Council-California State University in Fullerton, California; Socorro Ramos, Founder - National Bookstore Inc.; Dennis Valdez, President - Lex Media; Alfredo H. Go, President - LH Paragon Inc.; Juan Sebastian Nepomuceno III, President - Nepomuceno Realty Group of Companies; and Rudy Arce, Owner - Arce Dairy. Topics that will be discussed include Lessons and Best Practices from Successful US Family Businesses, Growing the Family Business, Sibling Rivalry and Revelry in the Family Businesses, Family Business Endurance,  In-Law Relationships in the Family Business, and Selling Off the Family Business.

Organized by the Ateneo de Manila's John Gokongwei School of Management, the Business Leadership Forum serves as a venue for business leaders and entrepreneurs to share experiences and best practices, and learn from each other's successes and failures. A model for partnership between management educator and business practitioner, it successfully blends theory and practice to offer a well-balanced program for the continued professional growth of the leaders of the Philippine business community.
